Hydrotherapy is a non-weight bearing exercise carried out in warm water to relieve pressure on joints, reduce pain and encourage movement. Hydrotherapy can benefit dogs suffering from injuries and health conditions including hip and elbow dysplasia, arthritis, lameness and obesity. It is often very useful to be used post operatively to improve limb function. It is also a great form of exercise for fit and healthy dogs that enjoy swimming.
