Passionate about your pet and mad about you

Veterinary Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine is used alongside conventional treatment to fill in the gaps we do not have medicines for. Parts of plants – such as roots, bark, seeds, leaves and flowers – are used as tinctures, infusions, and essential oils. Different herbs can be mixed to have a synergistic effect.

Herbs can be used to treat a wide range of problems including:

· Osteoarthritis

· Bronchitis/Asthma

· Cystitis

· GI conditions like Vomiting, Diarrhoea and Constipation

· Ear and Skin disease

· Anxiety

· Heart/Liver/Kidney support

· General well-being

An in-depth understanding of your pet and you will be obtained before expertly combining various medical-grade herbs to create a unique medication for your pet and his/her individual needs. This will most commonly be a liquid that is added to food twice daily.

The safety, efficacy, and proper dosages of herbal remedies for your pet will be carefully considered, and herbal treatments will be used in conjunction with a comprehensive veterinary care plan that includes regular check-ups and appropriate diagnostics when necessary.

Dr Laura Neerings MRCVS is a vet with more than 2 decades of clinical experience, practices acupuncture and will be the lead vet in this novel exciting service.
